Man Found Dead On Prospect Expressway, Cops Say

The body of a man was found dead early yesterday morning near an entrance ramp of the Prospect Expressway, cops say.

Police responded to a 911 call on Sunday, December 4 at approximately 5:24am. They arrived at the scene to find an unconscious man lying on the shoulder of the Prospect Expressway near the 10th Avenue entrance ramp.

EMS pronounced 20-year-old Ian McDonald, Jr. of East New York dead at the scene.

While McDonald, Jr. may have been struck by one or multiple vehicles, the NYPD Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad is currently investigating the incident.

The medical examiner has not yet confirmed the cause of death.
