Man Caught On Tape Setting Fire To Strictly Vegetarian Restaurant On Church Avenue

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help finding a man who started a fire that damaged Strictly Vegetarian (2268 Church Avenue) — a restaurant that was also recently held up at gunpoint.

The individual, who was captured on the above security footage, started the fire at about 3am on Thursday, July 23, which damaged both the outside and inside of Strictly Vegetarian, according to police.

We’ve also reached out to police to find out if there has been an arrest for the armed robbery at the restaurant.
