Man Brandishes Gun Near MetroTech, Flees On Foot

Having a gun waved at you by a stranger is a terrifying experience, but fortunately for a 35-year-old man walking near MetroTech in broad daylight this week, the armed man ran off without doing any harm.

It was this past Wednesday, February 10 at around 12:12pm when the man was approached on the sidewalk opposite 340 Jay Street by a man who brandished “what appeared to be a firearm” before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid-30s to 40s, with brown eyes and short hair, standing around 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing a slight 150 pounds.
