Thief Bites Prospect Heights U-Haul Employee

PROSPECT HEIGHTS — A man bit a U-Haul employee, after trying to steal two sets of truck keys at a Brooklyn facility.

On Thursday, November 14, at around 8.30 in the morning at the Prospect Heights U-Haul facility at 666 Washington Avenue, an unidentified male wearing a yellow sweat suit and black beanie, removed two sets of truck keys from the facility’s office.

A 51-year-old employee confronted the thief. During the struggle, the suspect bit down on the employee’s   hand. The police did not clarify which hand. The suspect then ran without taking the keys, cops said.

The victim was not seriously injured and refused medical attention. Police currently have no updates to the investigation.
