Man Assaulted At Jay Street Station After Argument On F Train
NYPD are searching for the man in the above photos in connection with an assault that occurred last Friday at the Jay Street subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.
The incident occurred at approximately 5pm on Friday, May 19. The 37-year-old male victim told police that while aboard a northbound F subway car he got into an argument with the suspect. The two men exited the train at Jay Street station where the suspect allegedly pushed the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head against a metal beam on the subway platform.
The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was treated for a concussion as well as bruising to his face and the back of his head, police say. He is expected to recover.
It is unclear what the two men argued about. The victim claims to have “minimal recollection” of the event, according to police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with facial hair, between 25-35 years-old, 5’10” and 195 pounds.
