To help illustrate the trail of death and carnage left by Maksim Gelman’s stabbing spree, we put together this map that shows each incident. Starting from the bottom, Gelman has worked his way up half of Southern Brooklyn, allegedly killing three, putting a fourth in critical condition, and a fifth injured but stable.

Gelman remains on the loose, and the search has moved north to the 70th Precinct. His car was found on East 15th Street between Avenue H and Avenue I. It’s unclear whether he’s on foot, or how long ago he left the car there. NYPD found the vehicle abandoned more than four hours after his last incident, on Ocean Avenue and Avenue R.
