Make Signs & Cheer On Marathon Runners During PS 124 Fundraiser Sunday

If you were planning on heading down to 4th Avenue to cheer on the runners in the TCS New York City Marathon this Sunday, November 2, consider stopping by PS 124, on 4th between 13th and 14th Streets, between 9am-1:30pm for their annual celebration and fundraiser.

“As you know, PS 124 has a front row seat to the TCS NYC Marathon,” says Jim Newman, PS 124 PTA president, “and to that end, we will not only be making signs to show our support to the runners, but we will also be selling baked goods, coffee, hot cocoa, water, and juice for supporters.”

The money raised will go toward PS 124 PTA initiatives such as its PE equivalent program, school beautification, and tech updates.

So bring the kids, make a sign, enjoy some snacks, and support the runners!
