Madina Closed for Repairs

We passed by Madina on the corner of Coney Island Ave and Beverley Road earlier, and according to the paper plate on the door, the 24-hour Pakistani/Indian restaurant is closed for repairs.

We tried calling their number, but, no surprise, there was no answer. Anyone know the details, or when they might reopen?

Also, if you’re looking for a job, check with them when they reopen — seems they’re hiring.

Though they get some mixed reviews on Yelp, Madina is a pretty solid spot for take-out and delivery. While they’re closed, can anyone recommend any other places in the area to get some similar fare?

We like Mithaas on Coney Island Ave near Avenue H for their spicy and inexpensive savory Pakistani dishes, located to the right of the more plentiful bakery items, but they don’t deliver. New Bombay Masala is good Indian option, and they do deliver. If you’ve got any other favorites, let us know!
