Madina Closed By DOH & La Guadalupana Taqueria Closed By City Marshals

As you might have noticed last night or this morning, Madina (563 Coney Island Ave. on the corner of Beverley Rd.) has been closed by the Department of Health. In addition to the official DOH sign, there are signs posted stating the restaurant is closed for renovations. The DOH website was out of commission last we checked, but a representative told us on the phone that the restaurant was closed due to “unsanitary conditions.” He was unable to elaborate.

A little further north, La Guadalupana Taqueria (509 Coney Island Ave. on the corner of Turner Pl.) has also been closed, but this time it is by City Marshals and not the DOH.
