Luscious Food, the comfort food restaurant that’s been at 59 5th Avenue for nearly 10 years, will be closing at the end of the month once its lease is up.

The business announced the closure today on Instagram:

Its sad but its true..Luscious is closing at the end of the month. Ten year lease is up. We will miss you. Be sure to visit and say good bye.

Known for its sandwiches, salads, and really tasty macaroni and cheese, Luscious has been a sort of diner-like option on a section of 5th Avenue that has seen rapid change since the Barclays Center opened. Businesses that have opened nearby recently include bars like McMahon’s and The Montrose, clothing store La Belle Boutique, and a real estate office, while just last week, YogurBerry closed up its shop a block away.

Very sorry to hear it’s closing — best of luck to the owners!
