Loving Local Businesses At A Taste Of Fifth

Loving Local Businesses At A Taste Of Fifth

The restaurants and bars of 5th Avenue brought their A game to A Taste of Fifth 2014 from the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID on Wednesday night, and as a sold out crowd descended on The Grand Prospect Hall, it quickly became apparent that organizers knocked this year’s event out of the park.

We spent the evening catching up with a number of Slope restaurants, including the soon-to-open Luke’s Lobster (237 5th Ave, between Carroll and President Streets), Der Kommissar (559 5th Avenue, between 15th and 16th Streets), Prospect Bar & Grill (545 5th Avenue, between 14th and 15th Streets), Freddy’s Bar (627 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets), and Du Jour Bakery (365 5th Avenue, between 5th and 6th Streets).

Check out the highlights above, and be sure to head down 5th Avenue way sometime in the very near future to explore the myriad of amazing culinary options our neighborhood has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.
