Lottery Opens For 54 Affordable Units Overlooking Gowanus Canal

Applications are now available for 54 affordable units at the new 363 Bond Street Apartments overlooking the Gowanus Canal Superfund site.

Located in the up-and-coming Gowanus neighborhood, the 12-story building features 270 units. When the lottery opened up last year for 86 affordable units in the development’s sister site, 365 Bond Street, 60,000 applications were submitted, according to 6sqft.

The available units at 363 Bond Street include 20 studio apartments for $833/month; 23 one-bedrooms for $895/month; and 11 two-bedrooms for $1,082/month.

Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, on-site resident manager, in-unit washer and dryer, gym, yoga room, kids room, and gardens.

For additional fees, resident’s can also have access to bike storage, barbecue grills, a swimming pool, resident lounge, shuffle board, and an outdoor deck.

Residents of Community Board 6 (Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Park Slope, Red Hook) will be given preference to half of the units.
