Local Subway Service Changes This Weekend

The D train is going to give up on you before you get to Manhattan, the N train will be taking its time, and more — details on those and other issues to watch out for this weekend via the MTA:

No D trains between 34 St-Herald Sq and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr
Weekend, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 12-15
ervice operates in two sections: 1. Between 205 St and 34 St-Herald Sq; and 2. Between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Stillwell Av. Trains run express between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St in both directions, all weekend. F, N, R, Q and special shuttle trains provide alternate service — shuttle train operates every 20 minutes between W 4 St and Grand St, stopping at B’way-Lafayette St.
Court Sq-bound G trains skip Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park, and 4 Av-9 St
Weekend, 6:45am on Saturday, September 13 to 7pm on Sunday, September 14
For service to these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Smith-9 Sts and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F or Church Av-bound G. For service from these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Court Sq-bound G.
N trains run local in both directions between DeKalb Av and 59 St, Brooklyn
Weekend, 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday, September 13-15
Allow additional travel time.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 12-15
Shuttle service operates between 95 St and 59 St. For 53, 45, and 36 Sts, take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the F and R lines.
