The Wind and I by Eugene Kharlamb

I am dreaming of a warm summer night..
lights flicker far away, lights all around
but darkness hides us,  surrounded by many yet alone,
passing ships, pass by, we remain unseen

Lost from the world we find a world of our own
Observing the etiquette of most proper occasion
Away from civilization we engage in a delicate dance
Rocking to the sound of waves gently slapping our sides

Looking away we look at each other, sneaking glances
Openly staring, admiring, touching, sneaking glances
Your features, my features indistinguishable in the total darkness
The night is hot, warm breeze enveloping, playing with your hair
The wind and I.
