Local Acting School For Kids Wants Your Votes

Cindy, a Bean reader, has asked us to share information about a small business grant she hopes to secure for a local business. The business she is advocating for is Acting Out at 7426 15th Avenue, an acting school for children and young adults.

“The owners Roberta and John are fabulous and really deserve it. They have done wonders for Lauren [my daughter]. They need 100 more votes,” wrote Cindy.

The grant would be awarded by Chase and LivingSocial are awarding $250,000 Grants. To vote for a small business visit: www.missionsmallbusiness.com.

Below is a message from John about the needs of the school:

Hello friends. Acting Out, the acting school Roberta and I own, is looking for your help. As we look to find new ways to nurture and inspire children in our…community we are also looking to find sources to help us fund those ideas. Mission Small Business is a wonderful program that rewards businesses who offer the community positive environments to learn and grow. In order for us to qualify, we need 250 votes by June 30 so please follow the link below and help Acting Out continue to help kids follow their dream in the world of performing arts.

If you were looking for your good deed of the day, this might just be it.
