Living Room Cafe Brings Quick Bites To Prospect Park West
Have you stopped by the new Pavilion Living Room Cafe? The service counter, which sits in a tiny room to the right of the theatre on 14th Street and Prospect Park West, opened last week and offers a fairly large selection of sandwiches, wraps, crepes, milkshakes, and smoothies, all under $10.
Cafe employee Sarah Tenebruso said that an indoor seating area is coming later this year, and explained that guests will also be allowed to bring their food inside the theaters during showtime.
Sarah also mentioned that this is not the first Living Room Cafe. The original, she explained, closed about fifteen years ago, and was apparently quite a sight in its heyday. We tried to track down some pictures of the old space, but haven’t had much luck yet. We’ll keep looking, but in the meantime, does anyone out there remember the first cafe?

The Pavilion Living Room Cafe is located at 188 Prospect Park West, at 14th Street, 718-369-0836. It’s open seven days a week, 11:30am to 10pm.
