Lit At Lark Returns October 20 With Carolyn Turgeon, Stephanie Lehmann & Patty Chang Anker
September 15 was the debut of Lit at Lark, and it went so well that Kari, Lori, and neighbor/author Amy Shearn are teaming up with a new trio of authors to do it again.
The next Lit at Lark event will be Sunday, October 20 at 5pm at Lark (1007 Church Avenue between E 10th Street and Stratford Road), and will feature:
- Carolyn Turgeon, faculty member of the University of Alaska at Anchorage‘s MFA program and author of Godmother: The Secret Cinderella Story, Rain Village, Mermaid (currently being developed for the big screen), The Next Full Moon (her first children’s book), and her latest novel, The Fairest of Them All.
- Stephanie Lehmann, author of The Art of Undressing, You Could Do Better, Are You in the Mood?, Thoughts While Having Sex, and her latest, Astor Place Vintage. Stephanie has also taught novel writing for Mediabistro and Salon.
- Patty Chang Anker, author of Some Nerve: Lessons Learned While Becoming Brave and the award-winning blog Facing Forty Upside Down. Her work has been featured in O Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire, The Huffington Post, and more.
Attend the free event, grab some coffee or wine, pick up a book, and hear Carolyn, Stephanie, and Patty discuss their work.
