Learn to Cook an Indian Feast for (or With) Mom for Mother’s Day

Want to treat your mom to a special home-cooked meal this Mother’s Day? Why not learn how to make an Indian feast–and maybe take her with you so she can learn how, to.

Neighbor Mukti Banerjee teaches cooking classes at her home on Beverley Road (and you may remember seeing her do a cooking demonstration at the Cortelyou Greenmarket), and she’s hosting a special Mother’s Day class tomorrow evening. You will learn to make a complete menu of Indian specialties–matar paneer, aloo paratha, lamb curry, and gulab jamun–and then you’ll get to enjoy the meal as well.

You can take the recipes home and cook mom a great dinner on Sunday, but it might be fun to take the class together–you get a $10 discount if you bring a friend. For more info, visit the MeetUp page.
