Lasagna Lovers Unite At Mary’s Bar Sunday

If you’ve been lying in wait with an amazing lasagna recipe, the time has come to emerge from the shadows and share your cheesy noodle goodness with the world (well, South Slope/Greenwood Heights).

Mary’s Bar (708 5th Avenue at 22nd Street) is holding a lasagna cook off this Sunday, October 13, at 4pm. The contest is free to enter. You bring in the food, the people will judge, and prizes will be awarded. The best lasagna chef walks away with a $25 bar tab, second place receives a $15 bar tab, and third place gets to sip on a draft beer.
