Lark Getting Closer to Opening, Seeking Staff

Lark Getting Closer to Opening, Seeking Staff

If you haven’t checked the website for Lark, the new cafe that’s coming to Church Avenue, here’s a quick update:

• They’ll be serving Stumptown coffee.

• A recent menu tasting included “warm Nutella and banana on toasted sourdough.”

• Some “before” pics.

• They’re currently hiring.

“We are busily progressing toward an end of the month soft opening–but much hinges on us finding the right staff,” co-owner Kari Browne tells us. “Looking for friendly, neighborly, committed people who love coffee, great food, and are excited to help this new cafe thrive!”

They’ve got a job description for the assistant manager position on the site, which specifies a person who can “open and close cafe, handle bank deposits, liaise with vendors on ordering, manage staff schedules, track inventory and sales,” and more. For more info, send a cover letter and a resumer (no attachments) to info@larkcafe.com.
