Kingsborough To Host Health Care Town Hall
Although legislators have finally passed health care reform, they’re not quite finished with the hard work. Democrats are traversing the nation explaining the benefits of the bill and dispelling myths spewed during one of the most poisonous debates in recent history (just check out the discussion that happened on our Facebook page for ideas of how misinformed people were).
Congressman Anthony Weiner will be participating in a Town Hall about health care this evening at Kingsborough Community College. So if you’ve got questions about cuts to your Medicaid, or concerns about whether your child will be covered, or abortion or “death panels” or taxes or whatever – now’s the perfect opportunity to ask one of the lead advocates for reform.
