Kids, Parents, Mathieu Eugene, and CAMBA March to Save After-School Programs

A long line of kids and parents gathered at PS 139 yesterday and marched around the block, chanting and holding signs to show their support for after-school programs from CAMBA, which could be cut from the city’s budget. Councilmember Mathieu Eugene also attended to express his support of these programs, which are are available at two of our local schools, PS 139 and PS 249.

The photos in the slideshow above are by CAMBA. If you were there and took some photos you’d like to share, email them to us at ditmasparkcorner@gmail.com, and we’ll add them to the slideshow.
