Here’s hoping it’s not too wet to enjoy some outdoor activities today–if so, there’s some fun to be had indoors, and hang in there for tomorrow! Here are a few things going on nearby:
Saturday, June 8• Volunteer at the Kensington branch for Love a Library Day, 10am-4pm.
• The 6th annual multi-family sidewalk sale is at 40 Tehama St, 10am-4pm (rain date is Sunday).
• The Lavender Blues Singalong is at Lark, 10-11am.
• Drop off your food scraps at Compost for Brooklyn’s open hours, 11am-1pm.
• Wynton Marsalis brings jazz for kids (pictured above) to Celebrate Brooklyn in Prospect Park, 3pm.
• The Milkman plays Bar Chord, 8pm.
Sunday, June 9• The Greenmarket at PS 154 runs every Sunday, rain or shine, 9am-3pm.
• A bouncy castle, an obstacle course, and more at the PS 230 school fair, 11am-3pm.
• CMBBA’s 8th annual mela is on McDonald Ave from Church to Avenue C.
• Play a song on the Sing for Hope piano at the Prospect Park Carousel until June 16.
