Kensington History: Harris Hairstylists & Lichtman Pharmacy On Cortelyou Road
The Brooklyn Historical Society has an incredible collection of old Brooklyn photos, including tons from our neighborhood. This shot from John D. Morrell shows the north side of Cortelyou Road, between E. 4th and E. 5th Streets, in 1958. (The photo was taken on December 31, 1958 but wasn’t printed until January 1959, as you can see on the date stamp.)
In the photo, you can see the old Harris Hairstylists and the Lichtman Pharmacy.
