Here is up-to-date information from the 66th Precinct for burglaries committed last week in Kensington sectors G (Beverley Road to Avenue F; 37th Street to Coney Island Avenue) and K (Caton Avenue to Beverley Road; 37th Street to Coney Island Avenue). Police report there were no robberies, grand larcenies, or assaults. The 70th Precinct is investigating a stabbing that occurred on Avenue F and East 3rd Street on November 21, and according to a source, the police know who the suspect is.

Ocean Parkway between Caton Ave and Albemarle Rd
A thief pushed open an office door and took a laptop while the victim went out to buy new supplies, police say. The complainant told police he’d locked the door, but the lock malfunctioned and the door wasn’t locked tight.

Dahill Road between Church Ave and Ave C
A 59-year-old man told the police that a man he’d never seen before tricked him to go to the rear of his commercial vehicle, which he’d just driven to Dahill Road. According to police, a second man, who the victim says he also didn’t know, got into the vehicle and took the $4,000 cash the complainant had just withdrawn from the bank.

Police say a thief gained entrance to a man’s apartment through a rear window and took a laptop, cologne, money, shoes, and liquor.
