Keep An Eye Out For Bubbles, Neighbor’s Missing Shih Tzu

You may have seen these posters up around the neighborhood over the past few days, looking for a lost dog named Bubbles. Our neighbor Alden LaPaglia, who ran into Bubbles’ owner Tony last night, wrote in to elaborate on the pup’s unfortunate circumstances.

“Bubbles is a 7lb shih tzu, white except for a gold streak, who got spooked last Thursday night by a siren outside the Cortelyou Road fire house,” Alden says. “She ran off in the opposite direction as her sister, and Tony was sadly only able to recover the sister.

“She is micro-chipped and registered and can be taken to the nearest vet for identification. Tony doesn’t know if Bubbles is still wandering the streets or has been picked up, but anyone with any information can contact him at 347-650-5419 or 646-657-7935.”

Alden says she’s particularly concerned about Bubbles considering the weather we’ve had lately–and so are we. Please be on the lookout for Bubbles, spread the word, and be extra vigilant while driving around in the snow.
