Kale, Grapes & More At Thursday’s PS 295 Farmers Market

PS 295 Farmers Market Sign

With only two weeks left, our friends at PS 295 (19th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) are wrapping up this season’s farmers market, which runs every Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm, with a bang.

The market, operated by the teachers, parents, and students of PS 295, was launched in 2013 and offers a vast array of produce grown in the school’s garden, but also features harvest selections from Waldingfield Farms.

So come on down and stock up the kitchen for this weekend. The school will have lots of goodies at the ready, including kale, concord grapes, potatoes, winter squash, broccoli, swiss chard, arugula, and Asian greens.

Are you a parent at the school who’s interested in getting involved? Stop by the market or contact market@ps295.org for more information.
