Just Walk: Weekend Changes To The F, G, And R Trains
7th Avenue Subway Station, G Train

The local lines aren’t pretty this weekend, especially if you’re headed toward Coney Island.

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street and Church Avenue. Service operates every 20 minutes between Bedford-Nostrand Avenue and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Strees
11:30 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Sep 13 – 16  and  Sep 20 – 23
No G service at Bergen, Carroll, Smith-9 Sts, 4 Avenue-9 St, 7 Avenue, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy and Church Avenue. Take the F instead.

• Transfer between A, C, and G trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street.
• Transfer between A, C, and F trains at Jay St-MetroTech.

G train service also operates in two sections this weekend:

1. Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue
2. Between Bedford-Nostrand Avenue and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street, every 20 minutes

• Transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avenue to continue your trip.

Coney Island-bound F trains run express from Jay St-MetroTech to Church Avenue
Weekends, 11:30 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Sep 13 – 16 and Sep 20 – 23
No Coney Island-bound service at Bergen, Carroll St, Smith-9 St, 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Pkwy.

For service to these stations, take the F to 7 Avenue or Church Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

For service from these stations, take the F to 7 Avenue or Jay St-MetroTech and transfer
to a Coney Island-bound F.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn

Service changes affect City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Street and Jay St-MetroTech on the weekends as follows:
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Street and Jay St-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71 Avenue and Bay Ridge-95 St. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Avenue
