Just Energy BROOKLYN RUNS 5K Happens October 11, 2018 in Prospect Park

Lace up your sneakers, grab your co-workers and save the date! The Brooklyn Chamber of Com merce will hold its first-ever corporate run on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 5 p.m. in Prospect Park. The inaugural Just Energy BROOKLYN RUNS 5K is open to individuals and groups of employees from organizations around the five boroughs.

Prospect Park is a favorite course among serious and recreational runners. The location of the start and finish of the course loop is the southeast corner of the park. The race will be followed by an awards ceremony and reception in the LeFrak Center at Lakeside.

There will be medals for the top male and female runners, but runners of all levels are encouraged to participate. Employees who don’t want to run with their company can just register to attend the after party and network with the Brooklyn business community. You do not have to be a Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce member to join the run. Brooklyn Chamber members will receive discounted pricing for each available tier.

A portion of proceeds for the run will benefit Prospect Park Alliance. To register and for more information, visit brooklynruns.nyc
