If you ever head down the hill with the kids to enjoy the Vanderbilt Street playground in Prospect Park, you may have stopped by The Juice Pedaler, a cafe and bike shop located just across the street at 154 Prospect Park Southwest. Well, that space (which a while back, you may remember was Lonelyville), has closed, and a new one will soon replace it.

The owner of Lark Café, located at 1007 Church Avenue in Ditmas Park, will be opening a second coffee spot, the ELK Café, this February, as our sister site, KensingtonBK, first reported. The new spot will include a long list of goodies, including Stumptown Coffee, bagels, vegan and gluten free baked goods, doughnuts, and more.

There will also be various activities at the new café, including wintertime song sessions with hot chocolate by the fireplace – something that sounds especially good to us on a day like today!

For the whole scoop about the new café, you can see the story on KensingtonBK.
