Join Sustainable Flatbush This Saturday For An End-Of-Season Workday Party

Sustainable Flatbush‘s gardening season is coming to a close, but they’re throwing a bash this Saturday, November 2 to end the year in style.

From 10am-2pm, fellow partiers can help Sustainable Flatbush winterize their Healing Herb Garden at the Flatbush Reformed Church (2103 Kenmore Terrace near E 21st Street), learn from Sacred Vibes Apothecary how to use the flowers, leaves, and roots of plants, and enjoy healthy refreshments–some even made with herbs from the garden itself!

In addition, some lucky attendees will receive potted herb plants to grow indoors and medicines (including oils, sprays, and tinctures) made from garden herbs.
