Join Coffee Mob This Sunday For An Ice Cream-Filled Anniversary Celebration
Coffee Mob (1514 Newkirk Avenue on the corner of E 16th Street) has been open for just over a year now on Newkirk Avenue–and this Sunday, June 1, they’ll be hosting a bash to celebrate!
Starting at 1pm, festivities will include music by neighbor DJ Carter Van Pelt of WCKR 89.9 FM‘s Eastern Standard Time, the introduction of a new artwork in the cafe by Ditmas Park’s Christopher John McGill, and drink specials on freshly-made single origin and blended cold brew coffee, ginger brew, lavender mint tea, lemonade, Japanese-style iced coffee, cascara tea (made from coffee cherries!), iced chai lattes, ceylon tea, and spiced iced coffee. As usual, Coffee Mob will also have hot and iced espresso drinks, and will offer 16- and 32-oz bottles of cold brew concentrate to take home, too.
Coffee Mob will also be debuting their summer ice cream selection from Van Leeuwen, including sorbets, vegan options, and a coffee flavor made with beans from Coffee Mob supplier Toby’s Estate. Toppings will be available on the cafe’s two sizes including espresso for an affogato treat, and there will be milkshake options as well.
Stop by to wish Buck and co a happy year in the ‘hood, and to get yourself a refreshing drink or scoop too!
