Like playing darts? Even just for fun (aka, you’re not an expert)? 773 Lounge (773 Coney Island Ave, near Cortelyou) is looking to get some “reasonably committed” people to join or form dart teams for the upcoming spring season, which starts around mid-March.

Diana from 773 explains that there are two dart leagues in Brooklyn, and that skill level is not important, as there are a few divisions:

Currently our teams play in Gotham City Dart League, and matches are every Tuesday during the spring and fall seasons, except holidays. The season runs 15 weeks, plus additional weeks for playoffs. You need to play in 8 matches to be allowed to play in those playoffs, so that’s where the reasonably committed part comes in. Roughly half the games are home at 773, and half away at bars all over the southern part of Brooklyn. Travel is usually ride share via players that have a car or car service, if necessary.
The other league has Monday night matches, and the bar would definitely consider a third team on a Monday night if they get enough interest.

A sign-up sheet is located behind the bar. They’ll collect everyone’s info for a few weeks, and then will have an info/intro session on an upcoming Sunday.
