The NYPD’s 62nd Precinct and 68th Precinct will both be partaking in the National Night Out Against Crime tomorrow night, and each claims to throw the best block party in the borough.

The 62nd Precinct’s event will take place on the corner of Bath Avenue and Bay 22nd Street, on Tuesday, August 2, from 6pm-9pm, will have a luau theme, with food, a live DJ, dancing, moon bouncing, and more. The 68th Precinct’s party will run at the same time at Shore Road and 79th Street, and will include plenty of elected officials, food vendors, rides, plus a Beach Boys tribute concert.

It’s an opportunity to mingle with the local patrolmen, politicians, and community leaders and enjoy free food and games. Tomorrow neighbors will also be able hang with commanding officers Captain Anthony Sanseverino of the 62nd Precinct and Captain Joseph Hayward of the 68th Precinct.

Both of our local precincts claim to throw the best party in the borough, and we’d hate to play favorites, so if you have time, hit up both and let us know what you think!
