Jobs Alert: Citi Bike Is Hiring Seasonal Workers At A Bed-Stuy Job Fair
Are you good with bike mechanics or don’t mind answering questions and troubleshooting problems over the phone? Then Citi Bike’s job fair with the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation could be for you.
The job fair is TOMORROW (Wednesday, March 2) from 12:30-2pm at the BSRC’s Restoration Plaza office at 1368 Fulton Street (between New York Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue). Applicants: come with at least three copies of your resume, plus photo ID and your Social Security card. And, of course, come dressed for success in a job interview.
There are over 100 seasonal worker positions for bike tuners and customer service/call center representatives, as well as 35 Outreach Ambassadors to begin in April. If you can’t make the job fair, you can also apply online.
Anyone hired “will join the Transportation Worker’s Union Local 100, and will have the ability to participate in the company’s 401k program with company match, a pre-tax commuter benefits program, a free employee assistance program, and paid sick time. They will also have access to special Citi Bike memberships.”
