James McCloskey Dies Following Accident In Dyker Heights

James McCloskey died yesterday from injuries he suffered as a result of a car crash in Dyker Heights earlier in the week. The New York Daily News is reporting that McCloskey, 71, died Tuesday night in Lutheran Medical Center.

Yesterday, we reported on the a crash between a truck and minivan near the corner of 13th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway. The truck veered out of control after being hit by the minivan, smashing into the bus stop where McCloskey was waiting.
