The Richie Rich Menu Is Here, Restaurant Will Open July 29

When we first reported earlier this month that Richie Rich, the Caribbean restaurant at 1219 Church Avenue, seemed like it was finally threatening to follow through on that “We will be opening soon” banner in their window after what felt like years, neighbors weren’t entirely convinced. Walking by last night, though, we got a little more proof. Behold, the Richie Rich Caribbean Taste menu!

Richie Rich owner Prince says the restaurant will officially be opening Monday, July 29, “around 8 or 9am.” They’ll be making breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, a variety of fruit and traditional salads, and juices and smoothies, and a customer appreciation party is in the works for Saturday, August 3.

We got a chance to try some amazing jerk chicken at the Church Avenue Street Fair a few months back, and their outpost in the Bronx gets especially rave reviews for its fried chicken, so we’re looking forward to that, too. What sounds best to you?
