CONEY ISLAND – The Yankees and Mets are in full swing but the minor league baseball season is just getting underway.

The Brooklyn Cyclones will face off against their rivals, the Staten Island Yankees, tonight at 7, kicking off their season. The first 200 fans to get to the stadium on opening day will be given a magnet schedule to stick on their refrigerators.

But that’s not all the Cyclones are offering this weekend. At MCU Park in Coney Island on Sunday, when the Cyclones face off against the Aberdeen IronBirds, fans will get a Brandon Nimmo emoji pillow.

On Friday June 21, fans who go out to the ballpark to see the Cyclones play the Staten Island Yankees again will receive a Roberto Clemente bobblehead. That Sunday, June 23, is Jewish heritage night, so if you go out to Coney Island for the game, you’ll get a Mensch on a Bench Bobblehead.

July 13, when the Cyclones face the West Virginia Black Bears, is Seinfeld night, and the day after is Marvel Superhero Day, when fans can get a Spiderman bobblehead. When the Cyclones play the Lowell Spinners on August 1, it’ll be Irish heritage night, featuring a jersey giveaway.

On August 9, the Cyclones will be giving out a bobblehead with the likeness of the team’s manager, former Met Edgardo Alfonzo.  August 17 is the night for the Star Wars fans, as the team will give away a Star Wars jersey before the Cyclones play the Tri-City Valley Cats. And for Italian heritage night on August 18, you can come to the park to get a Rocky Balboa bobblehead and see the Cyclones play the Valley Cats again.

You can find the team’s full schedule here.
