Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren to Speak at Congregation Beth Elohim

Congregation Beth Elohim, located at 274 Garfield Place between 8th Avenue and Prospect Park West, welcomes Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren on Monday, October 15 at 7:30pm.

Moderated by CBE’s Rabbi Bachman, topics of discussion include Iran, our upcoming presidential election and relations between the United States and Israel. A question and answer session will follow the discussion.

This comes at the end of a week of events celebrating the 150th anniversary of Congregation Beth Elohim’s, which includes the annual Sukkot and free block party this Sunday, which features live music, food trucks, a bouncy house, a social action fair, a firetruck, and a sukkah by Ruben Caldwell and Leigh Salem from Studio Tack.
