iPad Stolen From Park Slope Library

Just weeks after the Park Slope branch library reopened at 6th Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets, an iPad from their children’s area has been stolen.

Jason Carey, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Brooklyn Public Library, confirmed the theft. “One iPad was stolen,” he said. “It is unfortunate that this happened; the perpetrator was somehow able to remove the security casing.

“We are looking into new security measures to insure that the iPads remain available for the public,” he added.
