Juan Carlos Pinto and the Brooklyn Recycle Project were out on Cortelyou Road yesterday, inviting neighbors as part of the Brooklyn ARTery workshops to help install a mosaic on a wall next to John’s Bakery.

The Brooklyn Recycle Project’s goal is to promote community involvement through the integration of art in public spaces, while addressing the issue of waste. See a photo of the finished mosaic at the BRP Facebook page, or take a closer look next time you pass John’s.
