‘Inside Out’ Film Showing Inaugurates Cinema Club For Kids At Industry City
Fight the snow to have some free family fun at the brand new Sunset Park Cinema Club for Kids, which kicks off this Saturday, February 6 at Industry City (241 37th Street) with a screening of Disney-Pixar’s latest animated hit, “Inside Out.“
The film begins at 11:45am — but arrive early by 10:30am for a little science lesson in how a brain works.
Inspired by the story of “Inside Out” — a young girl named Riley moves to a new city and has to struggle with competing emotions of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Despair, and Fear as she grows up — the kids and educators of local science club Sunset Spark will demonstrate how to make your own Glowing Memory Ball.
Show up early on Saturdays and your family will also be treated to the “Taste of Sunset Park” pop-up market, featuring a handful of local vendors.
Here’s the full schedule of Saturday films for February and March. All workshops start at 10:30am and all films begin at 11:45am.
