Cops are after two unknown men they say fired off several bullet rounds on the corner of New Utrecht Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway Sunday night, striking a neighbor’s car and home.

The owner of the Bay Ridge Parkway residence filed a reckless endangerment complaint at 10:40pm, after a second-story window and the window of his white Toyota Prius — which was parked on the street — were struck by the hail of bullets, said NYPD authorities. No injuries were reported.

Police said they found shell casings at the scene and are looking for surveillance footage of the suspects. An investigation is ongoing.

We will update this post as we learn more.

Update [6pm]: The 62nd Precinct’s Commanding Officer Anthony Sanseverino told Bensonhurst Bean that plain clothes and uniformed officers are patrolling the area, talking to witnesses, and looking at ballistics to try to track down the culprits. Surveillance footage of the suspects was retrieved from a nearby business, but the video was too grainy.

When asked if the shooting could be connected to gang graffiti found on New Utrecht Avenue, Sanseverino said that so far there is nothing indicating that the shooting was gang related.

“We don’t have anyone as of now,” he said. “I’m still waiting for a witness to tell me ‘hey, that guy’s in a gang.’ We are talking to everyone and trying to put the pieces together.”

Though there were no casualties, police are treating the incident as a shooting.
