Hit & Run Crash Kills Pedestrian At Flatbush Avenue Intersection

A man has died after being hit by a car at the intersection of Dekalb Avenue and the Flatbush Avenue Extension, police say.

Cops responded to a call of a pedestrian struck at 7:47pm yesterday (Monday, November 17), arriving to find 34-year-old Latchman Singh unresponsive in a crosswalk. Singh, a Queens resident, was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The driver who hit Singh fled the scene, police say. One report specifies a white Toyota Camry as the vehicle involved in the crash. The Post notes authorities questioned a Camry driver, but later released him.
