Those neon film shoot posters have gone up, and that means you should make sure your car is out of the way.
Residents of and those parked on 5th Avenue will already notice some film crew setup and it’s all because of Brooklyn native Jimmy Kimmel.
The approximate areas affected are 5th Avenue between Garfield Place and 2nd Street, as well as 1st Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
According to Eddie, a location manager for the film crew, sequences for Jimmy Kimmel Live will be filmed for the show, which will be broadcasting from Brooklyn Academy of Music the week of October 19-23. The event is not publicized on the BAM website.
Kimmel will be filming scenes on a variety of stoops as well as the street itself.
If he’s on a break, perhaps you can stop by and ask him to move your car back when they’re finished.
Beep beep’m beep beep yeah.
