The election results are in for the primary elections which took place on Tuesday, September 13. All races in our immediate neighborhood involved Democratic candidates. Republicans in our area are running uncontested, so they will face the Dems in the November 8 general elections.

Here are all of your local election results. You can view election results throughout New York City here.

State Assembly District 42 (Parts of Ditmas Park, Midwood and Flatbush)

Democratic Party Democratic primary candidates (100% of the precincts reporting)
Winner: Rodneyse Bichotte (incumbent), 79.2 percent (2,352 votes)
Victor Jordan, 20.8 percent (617 votes)

State Assembly District 46 (Coney Island and Gravesend)

Democratic Party Democratic primary candidates (100% of the precincts reporting)
Winner: Pamela Harris (incumbent), 64 percent (3.091 votes)
Katie Cucco, 36 percent (1,740 votes)

State Senate District 19 (Much of Sheepshead Bay)

Democratic Party Democratic primary candidates (100% of the precincts reporting)
Winner: Roxanne Persaud (incumbent), 76 percent (9,986 votes)
Mercedes Narcisse, 25 percent (3,160 votes)

Judge, Kings County — Democratic Party, 5th Municipal Court District (100% of the precincts reporting)
Winner: Rachel E. Freier, 40.9% (4,730)
Jill Epstein, 34.5% (3,993 votes)
Morton M. Avigdor, 24.5% (2,835 votes)

Civil Court Judge, Kings County — Democratic Party (99.7% of the precincts reporting)
Winner: Odessa Kennedy, 51.9% (34,361 votes)
Consuelo M. Melendez, 48.1% (31,807)
