If you’re looking for a better commute (being able to walk to work is pretty darn sweet), or maybe your current job just isn’t cutting it, there are a bunch of available positions in and around our neighborhood. We’ve rounded up some available gigs, and leave a comment or shoot us an email to editor@ditmasparkcorner.com if you know of others!

1. Batata (3021 Fort Hamilton Parkway) is looking for a “spectacular, trustworthy, friendly register person.” To apply, email the restaurant (which just held its grand opening on Monday) at babatabk@gmail.com.

2. The Kings Theatre (1027 Flatbush Avenue) is looking to fill numerous positions before the stunning space reopens in February, including such full-time positions as executive assistant, director of corporate sales, and building superintendent. Their job listing notes that the candidates must have “an excellent knowledge of classic cocktails, food, beer and wine, and experience to match it.” If you’re interested in applying, you’ll need to send your resumé and cover letter by going here.

5. Café Madeline (1603 Cortelyou Road) is hiring an “experienced, outgoing and hardworking barista.” If you’d like to help the rest of us with our caffeine addictions, you’ll need to be able to work weekends, have one year of experience working as a barista, have (or are working towards obtaining) a city food handler certificate, be able to make latté art, and several other things that you can see in the job listing here.

6. The Flatbush Food Coop (1415 Cortelyou Road) is looking to fill several positions, including a manager on duty, an assistant organic produce manager, and a cashier.
