Help The Park Slope Library Win $10,000
NYC is fortunate have over 200 libraries, but it’s no secret that money is tight for these beloved branches. To help combat their struggles, the first annual NYC Neighborhood Library Awards is giving five neighborhood libraries $10,000, so it’s time to tell the world (or at least the Charles H. Revson Foundation) why our 6th Street branch is such a vital part of our community.
Nominations, which can be made online, will be accepted from May 20 through July 1, and according to the awards website, should include “specific examples and personal stories or anecdotes” that explain why your branch should win.
We’ve got this, South Slope. Visit the NYC Neighborhood Library Awards page and show some love to our local branch today.
