Help Police ID Suspects In Carroll Gardens Robbery, Cypress Hills Burglary
CARROLL GARDENS – Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the below photo and video who reportedly punched a woman in the face and pushed her down the stairs of a subway station before fleeing with her purse.
At approximately 10:45am on Monday, October 9, the suspect followed a 38-year-old woman to the Carroll Street “G” subway station, police say. He repeatedly punched the victim in the face, took her handbag, then shoved her down the stairs, police add. The suspect fled down Second Street.
The victim suffered minor injuries. EMS treated her at the scene. Among the items in her bag were a cell phone, $150 in cash, and credit cards.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 16- to 20-years-old and 5′ 10″ tall. He was last seen wearing eyeglasses, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.

CYPRESS HILLS – The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the four men seen in the photos below in connection to a burglary that took place over the summer.
At approximately 6:20am on Saturday, July 1, four men forced their way into a residence located near the intersection of Sutter Avenue and Logan Street through a rear door, according to police. The men took various TV and computer electronics worth approximately $1,500 before fleeing in a Honda Odyssey.
A 30-year-old victim was at home during the incident, police say, but was not injured.
Police describe the four suspects as follows:
Suspect 1 – Hispanic male last seen wearing a black baseball cap, long black braids, white tank top, burgundy shorts, and flip flops
Suspect 2 – black male last seen wearing a red baseball cap, white tank top, blue jeans, and sneakers
Suspect 3 – black male last seen wearing a black stocking cap, blue short-sleeve t-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers
Suspect 4 – black male last seen wearing a red cap, black jacket, white t-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.
