[UPDATE] Help Police Find Missing Sheepshead Bay Resident

[UPDATED: 11:10am, Tuesday, August 8, 2017] The NYPD report that Rosa Escobar has been located and is safe.

The NYPD are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 57-year-old Sheepshead Bay resident.

Rosa Escobar was last seen at approximately 7pm on Sunday, August 6, at her home on Batchelder Street between Avenue W and Avenue X, police say.

She is described as having brown eyes and salt and pepper hair. She is approximately 5′ 6″, 140 pounds with a medium build.

Anyone with information in regards to the missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
